Wedding stationery designed for a friend.
The couple requested that designs should take cues from the venue’s art deco interiors without suggesting the wedding was a themed event. After some initial research on the art deco movement and 1920s graphic design, I created some repeatable patterns as a base.
I experimented with fonts and layouts to find ways to produce something modern that referenced the deco period.
The end result. Once final designs were chosen, I created a menu and RSVP in a matching style. A gold foil effect further enhanced the art deco theme.
